Did this workout on the Milpitas Coyote Creek bike trail. Got there and realized my Garmin was totally discharged. Talk about bummer. So I decided to do 5 X 6minutes (counting 90 strides 6 times for each interval) with 150 stride jog rest in between. This comes close to 5X1600m - probably more like 5X1400 meters. Had no idea of pace but I tried to stay relaxed and do a hard pace that I thought I could hold for 6 times. I probably went faster than the 6:20 I had planned on running. After the 5X6minutes I did 6X45 strides hard with a 60 stride jog in between. Great workout.
