spur of the moment drive up to Yosemite. Stayed at Yosemite Lodge and hiked / did some sightseeing.
Been to the Happy Isles drop-off trailhead many times in the past (for hikes to Half-Dome and Cloudsrest) but never actually went to Happy Isles! Did this time, very beautiful and we had the place to ourselves. Gotta love winter and off-season National Parks!
