Back still feels sore but loosens up after walking a bit. Weight was way up there this morning - hopefully only a water-weight thing. We'll see tomorrow. This was supposed to be an interval day - I was going to try Jim's mile intervals with short recovery. Since I've only been running short intervals (1/4mi) I planned 4 X 1 mile with .2mi recovery at 6:30 pace. I thought that would be not too hard. 1st interval was right at 6:30, 2nd interval was 6:29 but at about the 1/4 mile mark of int 3 I just couldn't or didn't want to go anymore. The rest of the mile seemed too far, too hard so ran it out at 8min/mile. The 4th interval was at 6:28 so after a good rest it was no problem. Very disappointed that I couldn't even do 4 6:30 miles with .2mi rest. What's it all mean?! Will I struggle to even break 20min at this week's 5K?
