Notes

coaches let us sleep in another half hour so we started at 6:30. a bit chilly this morning(compression shorts+socks+short sleve t with nick and marisa wedding .25 zip+hat and gloves). long run with the freshman to springbrook. this time me, dan, jake, beaver, and argeni separted immediately into like 6:45 pace. we gradually progressed as the run went. we took a right inside of springbrook right away instead of left like last week. argeni turned at 25, but we went unitl 35:53(5.5 miles in). for the first couple miles my legs felt okay, but as we progressed i started to feel stronger and stronger and my form was good. after turning around i led the rest of the way back. innitially at like 6:20 pace we dropped to to low 6 and the last 3 miles were 5:57, 5:52, and 5:45. i felt particularly good and was dropping the guys but towards the end when it was just dan and i, i eased up so we'd finish together. otherwise the last few miles wouldve probably been like 5:30s for me. i felt smooth, strong, and had really good form and better breathing. this was my longest run since before i got hurt and it was a really good one. strides, strengthening, stretching, and rolling after this
