Notes
Ran from the store down to Boulder Canyon for an out and back but once I got up to the Fourmile Canyon turn off I decided to keep rolling up to Chapman. I had no idea how far it would take me but I knew that it would intersect with Flagstaff and I could drop back down into town on the other side. I was breathing hard and had to give a forceful exhale at times to try to reset my breathing. I climbed for 3 miles on Chapman and gained about 800ft in that time (1500+ over the course of the run). It was a beautiful route and I enjoyed the rare moment of exploration for me. Dropped down on Flagstaff from there and while it felt more comfortable than the rigging climbing of the previous few miles I knew my poor quads were taking a beating. Got more mileage than I was planning today but it was a lot of fun!
