No toilet paper int he apartment so I ran to the nearest port-o-potty at the Rugby field. I did a couple laps of the field and decided I felt good enough to break up things up with some intervals. Although I did debate doing some hill repeats. (warm-up 3.65, 26:02, 7:08/mile). Got over to the track and went right into 8x400 w/200 jog. I didnt care how fast they were just wanted to do something other than jog. It was nice feeling some faster running back in my legs, even if it didnt feel silky smooth. 74.3, 75.3, 72.7, 72.4, 72.6, 72.3, 73.5, 70.1. Did the 200 jog portions between 50-60 sec. ran back towards the Rec and eventually back to the apartment down Melrose. (cool-down 2.35, 16:51, 7:11/mile) Nice little interval session this morning further proving that I am recovering quickly from Chicago.
