Notes
Day off from work so went a little later than usual. Didn't quite feel like running but I made a deal with myself to force myself to run anyways. I still feel better overall when I run and worse when I don't, and I want to stay committed to this and make it a priority.
The meh feeling subsided after a mile and I felt pretty great after that. Except for the hills, this run just keeps going up and up and up for those first few miles. I don't know how I keep tricking myself into doing this run. Lol. But once I got onto Warner Hill I felt good and cruised down East Derry to Don Ball park. A little over 6 on the day, followed by strides.
I will probably keep it around 6 for the rest of this week, with probably 8 (instead of 10) on Wednesday and a long run of 11-13. The knee was barely there today but I still want to play it safe for the rest of this week. So will keep the volume relatively low and keep on rolling.
