Super fun hike. Kind of last minute went up with Humza for a late morning winter hike. Trail was nice and packed so not too much of an issue with just snowboots. Heck, Humza and his friend Josh used regular running shoes. Got steep at times which was tough to get a solid footing but we made it up eventually. I could not believe we were making such good time on a 10 mile hike. Then we really started making fantastic time once we started going downhill.

It was basically a giant slide for a good part of the downhill. So much friggin fun :) You would start running, then it'd get too steep to run, then you'd hop onto your butt and start sliding. Just turn left and right to go the direction of the trail. Then if it got a little less steep, you could pop back up, start running again, then back onto your butt for more slidey action. I had the biggest grin on my face the entire time and laughed for a while after. Everyone else was having the time of their lives too. I could hear Humza way in front of me just screaming with glee. Fantastic lol. That's one thing you sure can't get on a summer hike.
