These felt great! I think I am noticing something about these strides, is my achilles seems to feel the best after them. The first rep I feel a little pain, like 1 or 2 / 10, but always less than the run. Then the rest of them no pain. Then no pain afterwards. So it seems to be responding really well. One hunch I have is, it's stretching it out almost. Or putting the calf / achilles through a more full range of motion. And they like that. And, when it bothers me just walking around during the day, the main feeling is tightness. So maybe that's why it feels better once it's warmed up, and why strides in particular, giving it the full range of motion, makes it feel really good.
