10 miler today- guys were doing medium modaff tempo/fartlek and I didn't want to do the whole run by myself so I figured I'd go with them until they started tempoing, then just do my own thing. First few miles were easy going, joking around and what not. Hung with them until Gartner where I let them go and slowly faded through the pack. Unfortunately, I got going a bit faster than I thought I was going to do the run in but I didn't want to slow down so the run went from being steady to more of an uptempo run but ended up being a great workout. Came through the 7 mile tempo part in 40:00, then the fartlek portion in 14:37 before tacking on the last .4 miles to finish the 10 in 56:19. Overall, it was relatively tough, I wasn't dying or anything but my legs were a bit beat up. Felt good though.

6xstrides on the indoor track and had nice gear change, then full stretching before lifting.

Lunch: 2 turkey and cheese sandwiches on whole grain, glass of milk, and an apple

Dinner: 2 loaves of Jimmy Johns bread and a bag of peas
