Super easy cooldown for the first 2+ miles, legs felt fine from the effort but made sure to just keep it REAL easy and relaxed. Was surprised by how springy I felt and so decided that I was going to try to break my Milton strave segment on the way back which is one of the fastest segments I have. Knew it was goign to be tough in tights, the heavier shoes and partially into the wind but wanted to try. Hit the road and just went all out and held it as long as I could, then just jogged the rest in. Ended up running 1:17 tying my old record which is like 4:25 pace so pretty happy with the ability to push myself that hard, getting the speed back slowly and surely!
