Super long day (alumni meet) and didn't plan my time super well so got this workout in after the meet was all said and done but was a bit rushed since I was supposed to go hangout with people after. Jumped on the treadmill and started off at 6:20 pace, cutting down 10 seconds a mile. 6:20, 6:10, 6 flat, 5:50 and then proceeded to keep ratcheting it down the last mile to close in 5:20 for an overall 5 mile of 29:40. The first three miles seemed pretty smooth, especially 6 minute pace. Even 5:50 wasn't bad. The last mile was a bit wild and deff felt it a bit but was a solid close and a good run. Gina was working so ended up getting caught up talking to her and didn't have time to get in abs/lifting
