Notes
Readjusted distances so that they reflect mile splits as per manual lap function. Race started strongly enough, but as soon as I hit the turnaround, my legs just couldn't keep the pace. After several miles of gradually slowing split times, I picked it up in the final mile to try to come in under 1:05--too little too late, I guess.
No excuses here, my legs were tired. I've been working them hard this week with the greater quality workouts. So with all of that in consideration, I have to admit that this race was a success. Temperatures a little on the warm side as well (67 at start, 72 at finish).
