Another windy run in the Windy City (from the north @ 16). Specific endurance intervals, including 4 X 1 mile repeats at what should have been goal 10 mile pace with 1/2 mile easy (not recovery) run, usually between 7:00-7:15 pace. Ran faster than goal for first two repeats (wind at my back)--5:53, 5:52. First repeat into the wind was much faster than expected (5:57), so I focused more in slowing down for the last one (6:07). Question is whether I'll be able to maintain 6:10-6:12 pace for 10 miles as is my goal for the Soldier Field 10.
