HH HM Inter W5 Friday

3 mile run (pace)

Target pace is the pace at which I intend to run the Half Marathon which would be 9m/m according to McMillan. I tried to stick close to that but also run comfortably hard. Did great - breathing and stride stayed consistent throughout the entire run and I finished it up averaging a bit over 8:30/mile.

What's awesome is feeling the progress my body is making. Just a month ago at the Run the Valley 5k, I ran pretty close to the same pace that I did today. I couldn't even talk after that race, plus I walked twice during it. Today, I could talk when I finished and felt that I could have run more. Heart, lungs, and legs are def getting stronger.
