My legs felt good out of the gate (they got heavy after 4) and I needed to pull back quite a bit halfway thru the 2nd mile. I overdressed so the weather was never an issue. I was coming back past the church and heading into the 2nd half of the run when a scary guy with a handlebar mustache in a black Scion pulls up to me. I had no idea who it was but it seemed like he was about to give me a ration of shit for running outside based on the notes from L and Gadman. When I took out my earbuds he was swearing at me about how I hit his side view mirror with my hand or something (or I almost did? IDK). He looked crazy and scary so I continue to run but he slowly followed me. I explained that I never felt my hand hit his mirror but if I did it was an accident and I apologized as it was not intentional and a mistake. He just stared me down and then yelled, “WELL DON’T MAKE MISTAKES YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE”.
