This was lovely until about 8.6ish when the sidewalk jumped up and tripped me, and I went down hard. Major road rash on my left hand and the blood made it look like a gunshot wound. The sympathetic passerby turning around was a nice touch, asking me if I needed a ride home. This is at least the 5th time this has happened in the last 10 years. But since the lord is on my side, I regrouped and finished without incident. Happy Easter!
