Day 1. Ran next to Jim Baker on the treadmill for a while and then chatted with Bob Dole in the locker room. Kept this pace super easy and need to make that a priority.

The plan calls for 4 easy days week 1. Then week 2 has the start of intervals, and week 3 begins the intervals and tempo work. But the key is going to run the easy run easy which I never seem to do. So yes, day 1, run 1 = easy. Not hurt and the goal is to keep it that way. Since you're just getting off the DL I am trying to set a good example for you. You're welcome.

Love it - YES, YES - easy runs are where it's at and where we all struggle (well except Doug, who is really good at this). I'll keep you accountable if you do the same for me - I have 3-4 easy runs each week with 2 brutal efforts).
