I suck at sticking to my plan and this could come back to haunt me. I thought I would go 10 and then try the last 10 at sub 8. Figured if I could get close to 2:40 it would be a good day. Just couldn't keep my pace at 8:20ish so I decided to see how this would go. Never really easy. The 7:26 at 11 didn't feel fast but my legs weren't exactly popping. I told myself that maybe I'd just finish at 14 and then go easy the rest of the way. Then I had the same convo at 16. At 16.25 I stopped at Cumbys for Gatorade and potty break. Felt really stiff when I started again. Then got into a groove. 19 up Shaw's Ridge was tough and then got into another nice rhythm to finish.

Cuch - really no idea what you're talking about. Too fast? You think I'll blow up at the end? Do you know what my goal is? Other than shitting on my run do you have any real advice? It was my best 20 miler in the 4 years I've been training for marathons. My race is May 18th and I'm shooting for sub 3:30. Trying to be smart and at least consider feedback from others but I am starting to know myself and I think I know what I need to do. More specific feedback welcomed.
