I suck at sticking to my plan and this could come back to haunt me. I thought I would go 10 and then try the last 10 at sub 8. Figured if I could get close to 2:40 it would be a good day. Just couldn't keep my pace at 8:20ish so I decided to see how this would go. Never really easy. The 7:26 at 11 didn't feel fast but my legs weren't exactly popping. I told myself that maybe I'd just finish at 14 and then go easy the rest of the way. Then I had the same convo at 16. At 16.25 I stopped at Cumbys for Gatorade and potty break. Felt really stiff when I started again. Then got into a groove. 19 up Shaw's Ridge was tough and then got into another nice rhythm to finish.
