This was interesting. From 3rd and 42nd E headed up 3rd to 59th E to Central Park. Not as much car dodging and shit show as I thought it would be on the way out. This was my first time in Central Park and it’s really hard to describe. I ran inside the park itself but there were few runners. They seemed to stay on the outside of the park along with the thousands of cyclists. Dogs everywhere, most not on leashes but they seem to mostly keep to themselves and not bother people at all just wandering around. The baseball diamonds were immaculate and crews were working on them when I ran by. I can see how this would be a really scary place at night, or at least back in the day. 73 degrees already when I stepped out the door. Should be a hot one today.
