I decided to modify this run with a fast finish instead a tempo based on all of the discussion on the "Can I run a sub 3...." thread. Essentially, I wanted to ease into my run for the first 10 and come in between 1:25/1:30. Stop at home around 10 for a drink, tinkle, and a couple of gel shots. 11,12, 13 I wanted to work down to 8:20, 8:15, 8:10. Then the goal was to run the last 5 around sub 8 with the best mile being the last. This was way harder then I had hoped but I did it even though several of these miles I needed to work to get it under 8. The silver lining is that these miles were 56, 57, 58, 59, and 60 for the week.
