Funny little race with a 1.55 uphill and about 65 people at Sebec Village. The course is hard to describe because it's so freaking hilly for the first 1.55. I'm very happy to see my first 2 miles in the 7 range because this was a really tough course. I tried to break out hard and actually spent the first 2 miles in 2nd place, and then finished in 3rd overall (obviously not much talent out there) but it was fun to place and win my age group. Also happy to beat my 31 yr old cousin who usually whips my ass every year. He wasn't in the kind of shape he usually is in during this time of year but happy to beat him. Also realizing that I'm doing well with using the downhills and was loving the 6:34 3rd mile. Overall very happy and felt good. Legs felt great.
