Notes

Goal was to get out early this morning and run for 90 minutes. Went out up to McDougal’s and felt good from the start. Happiest with the ease of getting up that first hill of Hanson’s Ridge before the Orchard and just maintaining my pace. I always forget how nice it is up there after you cross over Oak Street. Down Deering Ridge Neighborhood Rd (or WTFYCI)and hit 109 when I started to feel a bit tired. Up Shaw’s Ridge and again kept pace after mile 9. At this point things got much easier and cruised home. Saw some guy with a box of donuts in the parking lot of the hospital formerly known as Goodall and cruised home. The big story here is that my weight continues to drop. 156 at wake up time and 153 after the run. The first time I’ve been under 155 since 1993 and something that’s been a goal of mine for the last several years. It’s got be helping.

Yes, it most certainly is helping. You seem destined for a best very soon. Maybe not a bad time to give the 5k a whirl while you await something bigger this summer. May 24 Sanford Junior High 5k.

You were cruising along. Didn't even stop for a donut.
