1 up, 7 tempo, 3 down. This is my last hard work out before Hampton and I'm going start cutting back on miles after this week. I need to finally have a good HM as this will be my 3rd attempt and I'd like the result to be decent. Every part of this workout today was hard as I could never get in a good rhythm because my legs were heavy, my energy was flat from the beginning, and my breathing felt labored at times which hasn't happened at all in the last 2 months. The end got really hard and I could feel myself wanting to give up but that's always been my problem racing so I decided to gut it out. Hopefully, these tempo workouts will carryover to the race and serve me well.
