Notes

Meetings today from 8:30-2:30, so I ran afterwards (and it's hot). Ibuprofen last night and after lunch today because of yesterday's hills. Last night I stretched and found mainly my hamstring to be tight, not really the glute. Running today it definitely ached but not right on the ischial tuberosity. I'm wondering whether it's not one of the deep hip stabilizers like the quadratus femoris, which also attaches there and rotates the leg inwards. The trouble on hills seems to come when I stop my leg from moving forwards and begin pushing it back and down but before it actually hits the ground. I don't know whether it's that motion itself or something else I do to stabilize my core while performing that motion on hills (or when running faster on flats).
