Disappointing. Second race of the double and it just didn't feel good. I dropped off the back with 24 laps to go (yeah...) and then it was a solo run with cheering. Thank you to the rest of the team for cheering, by the way. Ultimately, when the next closest time is a minute ahead of you, it's tough to keep pushing. And I still don't quite have that mental toughness to push hard solo and race the clock. I'm not sure how I get it, but I have to get better at solo running because unless something clicks and I lop 30 seconds off my 5K and a minute off my 10K, I'm going to be soloing way more than I'll be in a group.

1) Went out with a 36 or so. I was aiming for 40s, -1 if possible for a few.

2) The first 10 laps were almost right on pace, a 6:41 or so if I remember right. After that, I started sliding backward hard.

3) I refueled pretty well after the mile, but I think I should have eaten less. Having a bit less food in my stomach is what is more normal to me.

4) Started the warm-up a tiny bit too early.
