Green Bay Cellcom Marathon - registered

Sadly, not the marathon. Happily, this was a pretty solid run today. Feet are definitely chewed up, which isn't great, but there's something just slightly off with the 14s - they work, but longer runs feel kind of brutal on my forefoot and the outside just below the pinky toe. I don't think I'd go back to these, but they work well enough for now.

Run was good, even if I don't believe the first mile was 7 flat (mainly because I know where the mile marker is and it wasn't where my watch chirped). That said, I was pushing a bit today - gorgeous weather and proper lubrication is a hell of a drug. I definitely would have liked water at a few points, but all of the fountains are still off. Also, the Arb was in full bloom and that's surprisingly fragrant - not unpleasant exactly, but strong.

Ultimately, I'm in pretty good shape right now - everything feels okay if a little congested. That does happen if it's really hot after some cold weather, but also let's not fuck around and find out, shall we?

Oh, the loop is up to Panera, then across to the Veloround (today I took the hilly side), up and across to the Arb, then back home via the Mini cutout and the other end of the Cannonball path. If you run this the way that I'm expecting, Buckshot (because you run two smaller sections of the Cannonball Path).
