So I had to try to beat Ben's 26:53 didn't I? My PB was 27 flat . So I calculated the kilometer marks for a time of 26 minutes. And tried to keep to that. After the first one in almost exactly that pace (4:20 pace) I thought bugger, I gotta do that 5 more times?! got about 5 seconds ahead for the next one, and maybe 30 seconds for the 3rd since it had downhill. second last one I think I was 15 seconds I forget, and last one I was 21:45, target what 21:40. So I guess I went quick for the last K but didnt feel that way...sweet! Then farewell to Meegie for the night, off to get Hayley, then visit mum, who was feeling a lot better I think, doing some rehab now. (ps caught another mouse at Megans..queue evil laughter) So I clocked 25:43 but I have put down 9 seconds more, I had to cut over the road about 15 meters early crossing near the firebrigade to miss some oncoming cars..fair enough...
