Nice cool night, had run 5.6 ks at lunch. Ran well in the game though, we were short but had bruce, rex and another ryde guy filling in. I had a goal disallowed, met a cross in front of the goalie and hopped it over his legs, but the ref said cross was back of the stick ! no way, but there you go...we lost 1 nil. I had a really hard shot saved in the first half, and missed the goal with a turn from the top of the circle but overall had a great time, good contest they had some good players, but I caused more than my share of trouble some great running and passsing with rod, rossco, keith and les's brother over from wa, charlie...played inner unchanged of course..
