Played sydney uni, they were a good side. few familiar faces, the old guy from 2006 whos good, and craig tomko who marked up against me. I had a shot from the turn at the top of the circle after 15 mins or so, 100 mph and stopped by accident by some dufus who could get out of the way...no one could believe it didnt go in..then they scored a soft one a minute or two later when one of our 4 halve didnt mark the winger on the post..doh. went on to lose 3 nil. john hol filled in, but played a longer game from centre half. me and rod and rossco didnt really get the passing game going, but did some good stuff when we did. had a few shorts but didnt convert. at the end craig tomko said you were all over me which was a nice nod...I did play well and it was a good game in good spirit. got a free drink from vets association afterwards due to location and time relocation ..really late 9.30pm...rod gave me a lift which was a good thing too. Megan in bed and nearly asleep when I got in, watched a couple of minutes of the first day of the first ashes test at cardiff, england batting, no wickets...
