Notes
Played most of the game, started at inner, did ok, except one intercept where i thought i had saved a goal but got tackled out of the blue and they scored straight after. Then went to half, but their half and wing and inner were unmarked so i was 3 on one for the rest of the game and the half was too good. had the shits about it for quite a while but got over it after a beer or two. chatting to piggo after i discovered he was 39 and we could have played 30s and got a medal !! back to the unit after a few drinks, didnt stay for the preso. went to the pizza place again, watched the league 4 nations at a bar, went to another bar, had fun, but home in reasoable order, although did margaritas again before that. :-) I was on the lounge by this stage but it was pretty comfy. got up nice and early and got our bus to the airport with no troubel the next morning. what a great week, fun but exhausting. cant wait for next one. ps wore my new shoes for the last 3 games, bought them on our day off on thursday at the big mall there whatever its called. got megan a souvenir hat, i got myself the shirt with all the names on it. oh yeah this game we warmed up and then the medal preso for the women delayed us almost another hour so played more like 1.30.
