Just had to get out. said hi to mahendra, didn't even mention the race tomorrow! it rained most of the way. happy to catch meegie before she drove down. I then had brekky and drove to padstow station and train and plane, met at the airport and now in the hotel, meegie with nicky looking at homes for their mum. Brekky a big bowl of rice bubbles, small amount of rice cream, maybe a poweraide cant remember. At the airport a toasted sandwich, and a scone, and two poweraiides. small snack and a cuppa on the plane. Here I have just had a rice cream can, a muffin with jam, and a poweraide. Gotta keep it up unitl 12 hours before I believe. Then early night, early up for light brekky and take care of business, hydration strategy go to be hydrated, drink some in the morning, and nothing from 90 minutes before the race...
