Notes
We played real bad for the first 10 minutes and were two nil down. Then we got it together. We scored a good field goal, have to say coming from my work down left inner, pass to the wing/cf, across to the other one, goal...Then we won a short corner and Kreppy held it and laid off perfectly to the right, and I then smashed it into the left corner 100mph a thing of beauty!. So then second half I am told I trapped a high ball, we ran it back, I got the ball back, dribbled it around looking for a short, got a bit clear with a drag to the right, hit down into it, ball flew about a foot below the cross bar, hit the inside of the right post and in! It was a great goal I loved it and pumped the fist etc, very exiting..nice individual effort. Then late I took on the fullback just outside the circle, dragged right a little, beat him, forced the obstruction, but the ump didnt give it...really bad call..the ball got hit straight up the other end and they scored! fuck. bad call, bad result oh well. Back to 3 all. then with 3 minutes to go they scored a dodgy one with a lifted ball across goal, and batted it about chest high on the post..dont know who was marking him, but the lift into the goal was a worry. anyway great game, good spirit, the guys I was marking all ran hard and so did I and on our team keith, rod, rossco, new guy harry and of course mark b all had good games. Peter also and Gordon. Oh and Jerry too althouhg he might have been a bit tired from the over 50s, and garth had a sore hammy from that too. Kieith and I were fine though. Oh and my back didnt trouble me at all thank goodness. so 2 more goals in the bag, cool.
