vs Briars won 3-1 I scored a short corner, peter krepp layed off to the right and I whacked it in nice and hard, our left corner from a good angle. I had earlier hit another one just as well to the near post but the postie stopped it, pretty amazing job..Ran from around the half a bit later, passed to rossco and ran on, recieved the pass back, behind me but I controlled it, ran into the circle beat one or two, passed to maurie who in turn popped it across the goal to Henry who scored...I reckon I get an asssist for that ! achilles got sorer and sorer and I took it a lot easier in the second half, did a great pass in an interchange between rod and me and H that rod acknowleded which was good and some more running but recognised eventually had to take it easy. all happy with the game, all played well, sterner opposition next week. that makes 7 or 8 goals now !
