VERY slow going in the Assabet today...3" of new fluffy snow on top of the ice and my yak trax barely helped. Tough run but a beautiful morning. Had to cut it short as my feet were soaked and frozen.

Long- 2:00-3:00 basic volume.
Play this run by ear and start out easy. If you feel great then add on. Stop at the soonest possible time if you don't feel great.
The only structure is no HR higher than 150 in the first 10 miles, then ignor eHR and hold pace/ effort. Hold back and try to run for volume but listen strictly to your body and don't feel the need to crush it.
