Notes

After getting to work, I put on the Newtons and went out for run about 10 minutes later. Ran relatively rolling 4 mile loop near work. Glute and quad were tight almost immediately but stayed in that flexed/tight formation for duration of the run. I did not have to limp or change my gait/stride on this run. When I was done the quad was pissed off as was the glute but a few brief stretches and it was good. Within 10 minutes of completing the run I was symptom free except for tactile soreness on top of quad where it meets glute.
