I decided to run today instead of tomorrow. This was my first back-to-back run since...March, I guess. I had some difficulty finding the motivation to get out of bed, but I eventually made it out the door. I knew it was going to be warm, but I still dressed for the cold for some reason. I was uncomfortably hot during the run and the 100% humidity only made it worse.

Other than that, it was a pretty good run. Since I had run yesterday morning, I didn't care about my overall pace. I just wanted a comfortable run with even/negative splits, which is just what I did. Instead of feeling tired by the end of the run, I felt warmed up. Today's run has made me more optimistic about increasing my run time - as long as I just go slow. I also preferred the path I took to start the run. Instead of starting in front of the high school (going downhill and dodging cars and students), I went along the side of the gym into the cul-de-sac and stayed in the more secluded, lower part of the neighborhood. I was able to hit 3 miles without much repetition and there appear to be more unexplored areas that way.

My plan for the week was 3/3/3/3. So far, I've done 3.37/3/3.5. I think my goal for my weekend run will be to run from 35-40 minutes.
