Did a run/walk warm up with SO: 1.44 run, 0.54 walk, 0.93 run, 0.23 walk.
It was very nice out today, so I decided to mix things up a bit. Mile 1 - warm up. Mile 2 - 15 second pick ups every minute. Mile 3 - comfortably hard. Surprisingly, the comfortably hard mile is the fastest mile I've had so far and I felt like I could have probably run an entire 5k at that effort level. I'm not sure if it was the extended warm up (2+2.37 miles), the pick ups in mile 2, or something else.
