Notes

Started the day by sleeping through the alarm clock. :-D Even though I got 8 hours, it didn't seem like nearly enough. Had a nice walk with Jake, we got our first accumulation of snow yesterday and last night, so I couldn't wait to see how it looked. Very nice. The stars were now out, and the wind was zero. Nice morning.

Ran at lunchtime. The sun was shining brightly and the temp was up around 40* with no wind. The roads were a mess from the melting snow. Used my new shoes, the Mizuno Nirvanahs. First time trying them, I wanted to try something with more cushion to them than the Alchemy's that I have always used. Shoes felt great! They may become the pair I wear for the marathon at Disney. Anyway, I wasn't feeling so hot all morning, so I was kinda dreading the run. People at work keeps telling me I look like crap. But the run went pretty well. If feels like I'm barely shuffling along out there, yet the overall pace of my runs has been increasing. At the end, I had to really consciously slow it down. Toward the end though, I was starting to feel fatigued, probably from being sick.

18 miler (hopefully) tomorrow. I'm pretty nervous about that one.
