Ran with Zachary "The Trama Center" Trama. I was originally going to keep things at 16, but I decided to just do 17 with him. We eased into things and gradually worked down to a quicker pace over the last few miles. We actually got down to around my target marathon pace in the last 2-3 miles, which felt natural since I was just focused on hitting the mileage. I felt fine for about 11-12 miles, then I started to feel a little sluggish and tired off and on (but I now know that we were dropping pace, which is fine because I never felt like I was in distress or totally drained). Keeping a good conversation with Zach made things go by fast, though. I was definitely tired afterwards, but after a solid workout and with an unplanned extra mile, I'm not worried about it. I also got shitty sleep last night. My quad/knee felt fine, but it was a little tight afterwards.
