Solid long run workout, but man did I underestimate the harder segments! The first two were generally pretty do-able, but the last two hurt pretty badly. Still, I managed to get through them at roughly 5:20-35ish pace, which is what I was shooting for! I felt strong for the most part. The weather was great as well!
Workout went like this:
- 2 mile warm up
- 2x5min at threshold pace w/ 1 min recovery
- 60 min at recovery pace
- 2x5min at threshold pace w/ 1 min recovery
- Cool down for remainder of run to make it 16
(All of this was done in sequence with no stopping)
