Solid! My goal was to break 17 and generate some turnover, sticking to 5:20-30 pace for the first two miles and, if possible, kicking it in a little in the last 1.1. Mission accomplished! I gave myself a nice, rolling course, and there was a solid hill right at the end as an additional challenge. It was unexpectedly humid, but it never got to me too much.
I missed running this 5k with my friends and former teammates, but hopefully we will be back at Wyomissing Quarry Soccer Fields next year!
