Pretty good workout, but I will admit that I underestimated it. The on cycles, though short, started to take their toll by the 6th or 7th one, but I pushed through and maintained a pretty consistent effort. I never got slower than 5:25 for moving pace during the on cycles, aside from a few fluctuations to the 5:30-35ish range.

Overall I felt strong -- just a little dead by the end. This was a nice, gradually taxing workout. I ended up averaging 5:34 pace for the 5.2 miles of fartlek-based work, including the off cycles, so that's nice to know! These types of workouts will make me stronger for May.
