This run was pretty tough. It makes sense; I was sleep deprived from the world series, I ate a little too close to running, I haven't run this far in two-and-a-half weeks, and I did one of my tougher short loops. I forgot how awful the Dunkleberger Hill is on the 274 side; I didn't miss it. My goal is to work in at least one or two runs with at least one of those shitty hills each week. I'm going to need to get used to hills on tired legs before I hit this Boston course. I stopped for about 10 seconds at the top of the hill to catch my breath, but otherwise the run was still pretty solid pacewise. Just shaking cobwebs, I guess. I'll be back soon enough.
