I felt like elephant balls on this workout, and it's my own fault. I was good through three miles and then I started to feel like shit on mile 4. By the time I actually hit the fourth mile mark, I felt spent, but I told myself I would get in at least 5 for the workout. I really wanted to hit six again but I really fucked up a few things going into this:

- I got absolutely terrible sleep the last three nights. Part of that was from school work and part of it was just from me being an idiot. I will start getting more sleep tonight. This was my biggest problem today.

- Dehydration. Bad. I will give myself partial benefit of the doubt though; today was randomly about 20-30 degrees warmer than yesterday out of nowhere. I need to start adapting to the warmer weather. I was covered in salt crystals and my mouth was super dry at the end. No brainer.

- I ate a little too close to doing the workout. Part of this was based on some unexpected changes to my work day.

I am staying positive though. The funny thing is...this was actually a solid workout on paper. I only got faster in the last mile because a chunk of it was downhill with the wind at my back. But if I can manage to run a workout like this on a shitty day, then that might be something to at least hold onto. Coming back strong these next few days!
