This run was surprisingly good. I felt totally fine for the most part. My IT band and knee were a little tight and achy at first, but after the first quarter to half mile, everything felt pretty good for the rest of the run. However, it was tight and achy after I finished running. I think I'm just going to take two days off to be safe and come back strong on Sunday. At this point, I still have over a month of training left, and about three weeks of hard training before I taper. I just don't want to fuck anything up by getting injured. Luckily, the way I felt today is a good indicator that I will be back and ready to roll no problem on Sunday. The way I see it, I'd rather take two recovery days off and salvage my long run.

Weather was still a little windy, but nothing terrible. The temperature was near perfect.

My watch was almost dead, so I didn't take it.
