Well there you go. same run as yesterday, same pace, 11 beats lower HR. No idea why. I will say that when I started at "10 minute mile" it felt pretty fast. I thought it was faster than 9 minute pace, but I'll keep subtracting the 45 secs for consistency since I don't know what to do with this for now.
The important thing is I felt great and was really enjoying running. I was listening to a good ultrarunner podcast with the race director from Badwater and I was getting excited to get back to that, not that I would ever do Badwater ever. I mean I have thoughts of one day doing Western States, but Badwater? No way.
