Well after running 14 miles yesterday, my knee is hurting again this morning. I decided to go to a sports doctor to have it checked out. I was lucky to get an appointment today. He is hoping it's just Bursitis from overuse, but it may also be a meniscus tear which would be worse, or even worse a stress fracture. He doesn't think it's stress fracture but I need to get an MRI to rule it out. If it's anything other than a stress fracture I will need to just take more time off and ice more. He said I can do some bike in the meantime and run up to 2 miles. I think I'm going to just do bike for maybe this whole week. This really sucks, but I'm trying to stay positive and focus on eating healthy, losing weight and doing the bike. I'll have to put off my marathon training for a bit, but that's alright.
