Ran with Melanie and we took Maggie for the first mile (7:47). Ran 3 laps around neighborhood mile. Nice evening, but another tough day. I went to Master Sergeant John Ruppert's funeral today in Richland. He died this last Sunday of a Heart attack at age 51. He had full military honors and even bagpipes. I was standing near his wife as they presented the flag, "On behalf of a greatful nation". It tore me up! His 12 year old son was at her side! The good news of my probable promotion is tremendously overshadowed by the stress of two days of interview, Wayne's death yesterday and MSG Ruppert's funeral today. I have tomorrow to recoup a bit before Wayne's funeral Saturday and Aunt Georgia' inevitable passing! What a week as my mileage shows. Just too tired to do much more than 3 and I have been sick (coughing up stuff) since Saturday.
