Notes
Sidelined by vertigo (BPPV) for a week, about 90-95% back to normal now.
Almost a week since last run and marathon, testing to see if fully recovered.
Short sleeve a little cool for < 60F for the first 2km, but comfortable afterward.
First km no warmup, but naturally started faster trying to get warm.
Breathing 8/10 throughout. Legs and body were a bit stiff and tight from no running
last week. 5km of tempo speed and 1km cooldown. Did not run long enough
to see if I can cruise along at a steady tempo pace. Felt that I had lowered
my effort on lap 5 but gps showed I did not slow much. Upper thighs near the hip
(front and on the side, especially on the right leg) got sore around 4km.
Also feet were landing harder than usual. I think my legs were probably only ~80%
recovered from the marathon. The run was "tolerably-hard", not sure I would say
"confortably-hard"
